A Post-DWJ Funk

What I worried would happen has indeed come to pass.  I'm having trouble getting interested in anything else after three weeks of blissful Diana Wynne Jones reading!  So, I'm going to work on finding the right book to start next (while still working on a tough re-read of A Tale of Two Cities).  In the meantime, things might be a bit quiet around here for a week or so.  We have some wonderful picture books from the library so I will write up a post or two on those and I also have an ARC that I'm doing something a little special with -- maybe tomorrow!

Putting the break back into summer break,
K

  1. I completely understand the funk! On a side note, have you read Margaret Mahy? There can only be one BWJ, but she's the author that reminds me of her the most.

  2. I'm sad there are no more laudatory posts for me to collate. It was making my day every evening when I'd come back and find loads of new posts in praise of Diana Wynne Jones. :p

  3. Perhaps it is time for "Everything Is Illluminated." HAHAHAHAHAHA! This is not a good "break" book. : 0

  4. Nymeth - I haven't read Margaret Mahy but I will look for her books! Thanks for the recommendation.

Jenny - I bet! It's hard to get that same feeling from other authors.

Jenners - Haha! Yeah, not the best transition from youth fantasy to that one.
