Winners and More

First, I have chosen the winners for LaRue Across America and they are

and

Congratulations! I hope that you enjoy the book! I've sent out emails so if you don't see one from me, drop me a line.

Now, I finally gave in and picked up the wonderful Postcards from Penguin set -- 100 postcards featuring vintage Penguin covers. I'm sure that what I want to do is display these somehow so my question for all of you is How would you choose to display these postcards? I would love to do a huge wall of frames but I think that's probably cost-prohibitive.
There is a wide range of colors and styles so I'm definitely willing to split them up into groups. I may have to just display a few at a time or frame a few and maybe make a collage with the rest? I don't know! Please share your ideas with me. I need help making the most of these amazing postcards.

Playing around,
K

  1. Those postcards are so tempting! I have seen special frames to display a whole bunch of photos or cards -- I think they're made so you can change them easily. You could hang it up and then rotate them occasionally.

  2. Thanks for having the giveaway - I'm excited to win! I'll be passing the copy of LaRue Across America along to a young friend who I know will enjoy it immensely.

  3. Those postcards look wonderful! Pity you can't easily display the whole lot, though 100 would take up a lot of space. I have a Penguin mug - with Pride and Prejudice on it, but not the postcards.

  4. Woo hoo! Thanks for the giveaway. I know my son will just love this. And I like the idea of a collage or two. Maybe you could get one of those frames that open up and you can change it every so often.

  5. Karen - I took advantage of a nice Borders coupon and my Plus discount to get them at a reasonable price. I'll have to go looking for the frame you're describing! I think it would be great to see these out on display!

Lori - Congrats and I hope your friend does enjoy it!

Tracy - That mug sounds awesome! I am still looking at my options and deciding where I want to display these. I want it to be somewhere that I can see them regularly!

Jenners - I'm happy that you won! I think I'll go to a frame shop and just see what kind of options they have for maybe 10-20 of these at a time.

  6. I'm sipping tea out of it as I type this! (I know, a bad habit, eating and drinking and being anywhere near a keyboard)
