999th Post: Some Summer Piccies

Jaguar at Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle
I'm still feeling a lot like this big guy so I needed a pick-me-up today and what could be better than looking through pictures from the summer?! Since I was enjoying them so much, I thought I would share a few with all of you today -- just in case you also need a reason to smile. Also, if you notice the post title, my next post will be my 1000th post on this blog. Holy cow! I'm going to have to figure out something special for that. No pressure or anything, right?

  3. I'm sure King Tut's feet were killing him in those shoes. They look great though. ;-) That jaguar is so beautiful.

  5. Tasha - Most of that was around Seattle with a trip up to Vancouver -- only a 2 1/2 hour drive and we're in another country! :)

Jenny - It was a pretty fun summer!

Natasha - My husband has a running joke with my sister about flip-flops and jeans so we were imagining King Tut in jeans and these beauties. ;) And I love that jaguar. He's always sleeping there in the afternoons like a big lazy cat!

Amanda - Thanks! Feeling a little better each day ...

  6. LOVE the pics. Except for maybe that snake. :)

Hope you're getting on well. Take all the time you need, it's better not to rush these things. We'll be here!

  8. Heather - Well, luckily the snake is behind glass. :) And things are starting to feel a bit more normal which is nice.

Jenners - Thanks! I finally got a "real" camera this year for my birthday so I'm hoping to get even better. And I love how the pic of Z looks three dimensional when it's really just a flat wall!

    1. If I could upload pics with any regularity, I might consider it! I am notorious for leaving pics on my camera for months before I finally plug in! :)

    1. Too bad I can't take pictures most of the winter because of the poor light. :P That's the only bad part of the PNW!
