J - part of the reason I want to read Brideshead now is because I want to do it before I watch any film/tv version.

i've never read Brideshead Revisted (though i really want to) but i've seen a lot of the british television mini-series, which is fantastic.

it stars jeremy irons! who i can only envision as a villain in Die Hard and as the voice of Scar in Lion King. haha.

You know, I thought I had read it for the longest time because I knew the story so well but then I realized that my mom didn't own a copy and I don't own a copy which means in all likelihood, I haven't actually read it! Crazy!

Every time I watch the mini-series, I miss you and Sash and Tan!

I can't believe you haven't read Pride and Prejudice--even after watching all those versions with us at the Cheers house. It is awesome!
