I'm with you ... it started out wonderfully and lost its way in the middle I thought. I wanted to love it but I couldn't -- not like I loved Time Traveller's Wife. I still haven't written my review ... I need to figure out exactly what my problems were with it.

SaveOphelia - I'm totally with you. I save reviews to read later after I finally read the book.

Lisamm - Totally agree. When I was about a third of the way through I was thinking "OMG - I am going to have to buy a copy of this book" and by the end I was like "hmm ... I don't know if I would ever read that again". I wonder where it lost us.

I had similar feelings about this book. The writing was great. Why didn't I like it more?

This book certainly does sound interesting, but I still havn't been able to read The Time Travellers wife, which I just couldn't get into it, so I am not sure whether to attempt this book, but I think if saw it in my local library I would pick i up and try it.
