I totally didn't realize that Michael Cox's
The Glass of Time was a sequel to his first book,
The Meaning of Night, but this has just bumped it up to the top of my TBR list. I found this tidbit out in
this review of the book. If I wasn't already sold by the fact that the first book was
amazing, I would jump right on board when the reviewer calls Cox a "modern-day Wilkie Collins". If you haven't read
The Meaning of Night yet and you like Victorian era mysteries with shocking and heart-rending twists, read it immediately.
On a side note, I will be using this as one of the books for my
2nds Challenge now.
