The Shadow of the Wind is my 1 re-read this year so far.
28 of the books I read were received specifically for review.
21 of the books I read were borrowed from the library.
20 of the books were classics or re-releases of older titles.
Out of 66, there were only 7 that I would not consider reading again.
13 of the books were youth or YA titles and 2 were non-fiction.
I can't wait to see how this changes over the next six months. I can't imagine not having more re-reads because I love to read books again!
And now, a couple of pictures from our holiday trip to San Juan Island, WA ...
(In order: Cattle Point, English Camp, Lime Kiln State Park, Lime Kiln Point Lighthouse)
Looking forward,
K
Kristen...what beautiful photos; thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics!! It makes me miss the Pacific Northwest sooooo much!! Someday I will be back!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm new to the state, so I enjoy seeing what it has to offer...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of a beautiful place! Did you see any Orcas while you were there?
ReplyDeleteRobin - unfortunately we missed the orcas. They were around but we went at the wrong times. We did get to see a few harbor seals and spent some time at some tide pools though!
ReplyDeleteJenny - It's a beautiful state! We've been here for 13 years now and we can still always find beautiful places we've never been.
Tif - Sometimes I get tired of the gloom but then I think about giving up the green and decide to stay a while longer. :)
Diane - I love seeing other people's travel photos so I'm glad that people enjoy mine!
Wow -- 66 books! I'm impressed! And only 7 you didn't like. Not bad.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are great -- I think the daisy one is my favorite!
