I know we've been missing in action for a while. We had spring break and then, well, a quick trip to Maui. I'll hopefully get those pictures uploaded in a couple of days. But today we're having a little birthday party because on Monday Z turned nine! I can't believe how quickly the years have gone by. It seems like he was just a baby and now he's not even a foot shorter than me.
Anyway, we'll be back soon. We've read a lot of great books lately that we need to tell you all about!
Full of fresh air and sunshine,
K and Z
I like how you throw in "a quick trip to Maui" really casually like it's no big deal. :) Hope you've had loads of fun and your celebrations go well.
ReplyDeleteHaha ... I might have understated the trip a little. I was super excited to go and it was wonderful to be there!
DeleteIt sounds like you had a nice time, this is what is important! :D I hope you had fun bday party!
ReplyDeleteIt was really nice! The trick seems to be to invite all of the quiet kids. :)
DeleteI saw a picture your hub posted of you and Z (when he was a baby) on FB and I love it. Enjoyed following your trip on Instagram but boy am I jealous! My last trip before the baby will be a glamorous roadtrip to New Mexico.
ReplyDeleteI am always blown away when I see those baby pics now. I see him in there but can barely remember those times. And hey, any trip is better than no trip (in most cases). :)
DeleteYay for nine-year-old Z! And hi! You are absolutely lovely and I am always pleased to see you post things.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks! I am hoping to get back on track soon. I think I just have a bit of end-of-the-school-year slackiness (no, that's not a word). Who knew that parents get it too?!
DeleteYay for some play time!! I'm getting a smaller version of that this week! Cannot wait!!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to Z!!! Time sure does fly when you watch your kids grow up!
Play time is mental health time. :) And thank you for the birthday wishes!
