#MarchMagics 2020 Has Begun! #DWJMarch

I know that it is only February 29 but I figure that we can add this day on to March Magics if we want to since it's a random, magical day. I, for one, am ready to start reading the wonderful stories of Diana Wynne Jones and Terry Pratchett.

I have two new-to-me books that I'm planning on reading--Small Gods and Hexwood--and then the rest will be based on mood. I'm pretty sure I will reread Dodger and Eight Days of Luke because I've been thinking about them lately. I'm not sure if I will write any additional blog posts but will definitely be sharing on Twitter, Instagram, and Litsy.

Which DWJ and Pratchett books are on your stack this month?

Please post any links you have during the month on this post so that others can come and find them. And remember to use the #MarchMagics hashtag on social media.

Enjoy your month with our dearly departed but never forgotten!

  1. I just re-listened to Howl's Moving Castle, which was one of the first books that really got me started into fantasy, along with Sanderson's work. :)

I do wish I liked Prachett more, though. I've read a few of his and I just don't really get into them. Something about his style just seems to miss me. Boo.

    1. I do think that Pratchett is not for everyone. Have you tried Nation or Dodger though? They aren't Discworld books and they are a bit mellower, style-wise.

  2. Yes, let's start early! I've checked out The Last Continent, a Discworld book I've never read, and I'm thinking of rereading The Homeward Bounders along with Chris. Hexwood and Small Gods will be a great combo.

    1. The Last Continent is one of my next Discworlds too. And Homeward Bounders seems like it might end up being a reread for me this month because Hexwood is making me think of it a lot!

  3. I'm hoping to read Islands of Chaldea, Thief of Time, and A Hat Full of Sky! And if I have time, I want to do some rereads... maybe Fire and Hemlock, Deep Secret... So excited for March Magics, and starting on a Leap Day does seem magical and appropriate! Enjoy Hexwood--it's one of my favorites!

  4. Woooooooo! I'm rereading Howl's Moving Castle because I have such a beautiful Folio Society edition of it, and beyond that I'm not sure yet.
